The Broken Chain
We little knew that
morning that God
was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death
we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go
alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; And
though we cannot see you, you are always at out side. Our family
chain is broken, and nothing seems the same; but as God calls
us one by one, the chain will link again. |
Remembrance
You can shed
tears that she is gone, Or you can smile that she has lived. You
can close your eyes And pray that she’ll come back, Or you can
open your eyes And see that she has left. Your heart can be empty
Because you can’t see her, Or you can be full of The love you
shared.
You can turn
your back on tomorrow And live yesterday, Or you can be happy
for tomorrow Because of yesterday. You can remember her And only
that she’s gone, Or you can cherish Her memory and let it live
on.
You can cry
and close your mind, Be empty and turn your back, Or you can do
what she’d want:
Smile, Open
your eyes, Love and Go On. |
Forever in Our Hearts
We thought of you with
love today, but that is nothing new.
We thought of you yesterday,
and days before that, too.
We think of you in silence, we speak
your name with pride,
And
we relive our memories of living side by side.
Your memory is
our keepsake with which we’ll never part.
God has you in his keeping---
We
have you in our heart.
